I've just been given what I think is a feather-fin catfish (6") by a fried who is moving house. It is attaching my king plecs (5"). It's not bothering with any of the smaller fish. Does anyone know how I can stop this without having to flush it.

Does your Pleco's have plenty of space to hide/escape the attacks?
It may be easier to make the fish avoid each other than to make them stop doing what they are doing.
Another very obvious solution is of course to put the Featherfin in a different tank, but that's only an option if there is another tank to put it in...
A third option might be to donate it to your local fish-shop... They may be able to find it a new home...
