I am working on a breeding projekt together with a friend of mine, We allready got a very large group of L46, and now my importer got his hands on a box of L173. These are supposed to be H. Zebra ofcourse, but is there any difference between L46 and L173 (and L98 while we are at it
The fish that a friend here in the US was told were L173 were definitely NOT H. zebra. You'll definitely want to see them before you buy them, IMO. I doubt they are really H. zebra, personally, as they are really cracking down on people exporting them. Calling them L173 isn't going to make them not H. zebra, if you get my meaning. Good luck with them!
Yes Walter, I do realize that. What I'm saying is that the fish I've seen recently imported AS L173 were not. They should be, but that would also make them H. zebra, which is restricted, hence, they aren't actually importing the right fish under that number. My experience with it might differ from anyone elses though, it's why I just recommended not buying them sight unseen.
I have not seen any of the L173 that are imported to Sweden thats really are them, some of them have been youngsters of L316 and some of them have been L287 but I have never found a real L173 in the boxes so I agree with Barbie if you really wants them...take a look first. But the other species is really nice too
Tou were completely right Barbie. The fish didn't even closely resemble zebra's. Bummer, because it were supposed to be 50 pieces which would have doubled our breeding group! We found 9 adult L262, so that made the trip worthwile
