Feeding Zebra Plecs

Hi I have a Little Zebra who only seems to take bloodworm and nothing else is this normal and can he survive on bloodworm alone? His black stripes are not as black as i would have liked anything else i can feed him to enhance the color??? cheers

Got any pics?? i keep Zebs hoping to spawn them soon, mine love - king british catfish pellets, bloodworm (one or twice a week) and tetra prima, try this vary the diet for them and im sure they will look better especially though eating the prima

they have a Zeb Mr.Smith so they may as well join up heh :lol:

I think you should vary the diet, as just bloodworms will probably cause problems sooner or later. For fry...I use cyclops/bbs/and vitamin enriched trout chow. For older zebras (1"+) try black worms/mysis shrimp/brine/ and pellets. They will nibble on veggies, but are mostly meat eaters!
