They are technically F. vittata now, but the Chirgua and Pao populations were at one time described as F. augustini Salazar, 1964. They are morphologically the same as the llanos populations but instead live in cool fastwater streams (not a typical Farlowella habitat!). There are some slight coloration differences as well.
