To be honest, I probably couldn't tell the difference on the vent-side anyways, so those pictures could have been sharp as a tack and still not helped me.Freckles wrote:first of all im not a bloke thank you very much![]()
and im sorry for the quality of the pictures, they were really hard to take especially the first one of each fish for i couldnt get them to pose and had to catch them in a net and put it against the front glass of the tank and with my other hand take the picture, which is really NOT easy. so i understand why you can't really tell.
you said the second fish seemed to have odontodes, when i took the pictures i think i saw this too but they were really small. the first fish didn't seem to have them, is it possible for a male to not have odontodes and still be a male?
