I've had Corydoras trilineatus for a while now, but haven't been lucky in the breeding department until now:
Everytime I see great photos of juveniles, I want to tip my cap to the photographer! This is their first spawning attempt. There were thirty-something eggs. All of them hatched. There are currently 25 viable fry. The parents are wild-caught. This is my first group of wild-caught anything to spawn. The weather got warm soon after they spawned and they stopped. I never thought I'd hope for cool weather in the summer, but I am. The Scleromystax barbatus I have made one unsuccessful spawning attempt. I think they'll have to wait until the autumn.

Congrats on the Cory spawn. I wouldn't worry about the temp, too much. My S. barbatus started spawning as soon as it got hot, here. My S. kronei have spawned 5 times in 4 weeks and the S. prionotus have turned into non-stop spawners. They don't care what the temperature is. - Frank
It gets very hot where I live and my "air conditioner" means my house and therefore fish have to endure temps near 92F when it's 118F outside. It will stay over 100 degrees for months on end. I do not raise a single Corydoras during this period. I'm just lucky to keep them alive until it cools back down.
I have other fish such as Discus and Sturisoma, that take the heat in stride so things balance out. It's just as well since I wouldn't have enough tank space if all my fish were to go on a reproductive binge at the same time.
Thanks, all. I hear what you mean. I did some water changes this morning and I have a few tanks with occupants going at it. Guess it's time to enlarge the fishroom. My S.barbatus can't make up their mind. They've laid eggs once, but they weren't fertile. The male has found another female to his liking and is chasing her, then shaking in front of her and releasing milt. They dance around and can't seem to get it right. But, they're still small for S.barbatus. Practice, practice. The C.aeneus and C.paleatus stop for nothing. The C.aeneus in full "squeak" mode. Everytime they come to the surface for air, you get a squeak. The first time I heard it, I thought it was my filter.
