My tanks

Post by Carp37 »

I'm not sure if this should go in Speak Easy or here... as about half my fish are catfish and the other half aren't, but I've got photos of more of the non-catfish... but anyway, I got a new camera this week, and was dying to try it out.

4' tank (Satanoperca and Megalechis growout, plus Brochis- 3 wild-caughts and 10 progeny)

PS thanks to Mats for replying to PMs as I realised he'd got Satanoperca with Corydoras- I'd previously had geos with corys and it didn't work, but the Satanopercas are much mellower (to the extent that they might create a problem in a year's time- the baby geos beat them up to the extent that the geos had to go in with the parents in the 150 gallon tank but I daren't put the Satanopercas in there!)

note the awfully dirty tank glass (after spending ages trying to clean it!)

Distichodus affinis (actually taken 14th November last year)
Image

Lemon-finned Barb Hypsibarbus wetmorei (a bad buy- I trusted Fishbase for some reason on maximum size)
Image

Synodontis euptera (not very good pictures but she's so difficult to photograph usually)
Image

Image

Callichthys callichthys (also usually impossible to photo- special apologies for tank glass!)
