Id for my "Lace Catfish" (Synodontis nigrita) please?
I bought two of these Synos at a LFS a few days ago. They were sold to me as Synodontis nigrita. They are both quite young, but their black spots seem to be larger then the pics of the juvenile on this forum, and the stripe down the side is throwing me off as well. Any help would be awesome!

The adipose fin is too small to be S. ocellifer. I think it's a hybrid.

I was pretty much guessing that it was a hybrid, but I wasn't sure. Would make sense, being that the LFS i got it from would seem like the type of place that would sell hybrids. As for the possibility of the line being HLLE, both of the synos have the lines, and it's on both sides. I'm pretty new to synos. Could the lines stem from them being hybrids (if that is the case)?
