Scarlet plec L25 news

Post by fishiechris »

Hi guys,
Can anyone shed any light on the availability of this species. I have heard that hte have banned exporting them. Are they going the way of the zebra plec and is it worth grabbing a few if you spot any in the shops? Cheers

If they are banned, then it's not a new thing, as H. zebra and many other fish were banned together in one big lump.

I'm pretty sure there was a list of the banned/allowed species posted not so long ago.

This post lists specifically L24/L25.

The link to Plecofanatics also lists L24 and L25 as banned.
