Synodontis eupterus strange behavior.
Lately my syno. euppies have started to hang out on one side of their tank instead of hanging out in their own caves. What gives>?. They are so crowded by choice that they are almost top of each other at times. I thought at first it might be because they saw me watching them and wanted food.
Now it seems they hang on that end of the tank every time I check on them. AND I usually was feeding them on the other end of the tank.

Species tank, it's just them. Tank looks empty with them all hanging together on one end.

Re: Synodontis eupterus strange behavior.
did you move anything around in their tank? Mine can get really different if I move something to clean and do not get it back exactly right.
Mine stayed upside down hovering all together in the middle for about a whole week. Now they are all over again. i think mine was because the substrate got a little lighter in colour. But who knows?
whats your tank parameters? A NI NA PH temp?

Moved things over to vacuum gravel. It was quite dirty since the faucet attachment style siphon( Lee brand) didn't reach the bottom. I finally got a longer one which is a python brand. Only tank that could really use more filtration around here.
Testing the water would be a really good idea too. Since I have the water testing kits mostly here with me, have to remember to bring them with me next time.
