Re: Platynematichthys Notatus
I don't know of anyone who has done this.....
I think your question is really can 2 be kept together SUCCESSFULLY/WITHOUT PROBLEMS?
Obviously 2 could be kept together but if they prove aggressive or territorial then space is an issue. With some of todays tropical ponds and mega tanks it should be easy as multiples of TSN, learius and RTC have been combined without much problem.
What size environment were you considering?

96"x48"(wide)x30"(high), ive seen a youtube video of two in the same tank, and have asked him if he had any problems, so ill see what he has to say. i know they max out at nearly 40" but as they usually come in at 12"-15" ill have them for a few years before i have to donate them to a zoo or somthing.

Kev,
At last weekends catfish convention, Dr. Michael Goulding briefly mentioned in one of his talks that this was a shoaling species. So, better get half a dozen.

Jools, as in shoaling throughout their entire lives, at all ages?

Yes, actually, I've never seen this fish smaller than about a foot too.
