Unknown L-number fry...? ID-help.
I saw this little thing in of my tanks today.. Apr. 10-12 mm.
Possible parents:
L-046 (Doesn´t look anything like the other 046-fry I have.)
L-201 (Doesn´t look anything like the other 201-fry I have.)
L-128 (Didn´t think the adults were big enough, but maybe?)
Anyone have a guess?

Re: Unknown fry...? ID-help.
if you change the title to "unknown L number fry' or "unknown Loricariidae" fry", maybe it can be put there?
that's where the ret of the L-breeders hang out
congrats btw, it's a cute lil wee pleco.

Or it could be a cross between H. zebra and L201? There's no easy way to tell, I don't think [although I'm pretty sure it's not H. zebra, and probably not L128].

Hmm.. That´s also possible..
But I hope not. The 46 and 201 havn´t shown any inteterest in each other earlier, but you never know.

I don´t think it is a hybrid. Are there any other, non hypostomiin plecos?
In a week we will know for sure but I kind of like this riddle.

The subject title had already been changed (see OP's first reply) and the topic was moved to a more appropriate forum.....HenkeP wrote:[Mod edit: Change subject as per Sidguppy's suggestion --Mats]

Snubbed like head and large eye in comparison would suggest L201, given the options of the three loricariidae.

Re: Unknown L-number fry...? ID-help.
I think you should have seen some activity beforehand. If you had L128s in caves, then maybe it is a L128; otherwise I'd say L201. In a couple weeks you should know for sure. Congrats

The teeth on the first picture seems wrong for Hypancistrus. You can see fairly broad plates. So perhaps it is L128?
