additional information for asian bumblebee catfish Pseudomystus siamensis

it seems that the cat-elog is slightly wrong with the bumblebee cats territorial nature but I wont say its completely wrong as I ave two bumble bee cats who to an extent shoal but I believe this is because one is male and the other is female they are also both adults which may play a role also I have some additional information on sexual identification as it seems males arnt only more slender but also posses elongated anal fin that is fin I am at the moment about to start to try an breed them so lets hope im patient enough

fyi at the moment the male is around 15 cm the female slightly less

Are you referring to genital papillae, or actually the anal fin (compare this photo on the CLOG page: http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/ima ... ge_id=3290)? Can you get some good clear photos of this difference and post them here? That would be very helpful.

Hadn't realised how quickly these grow from 45mm to 120mm in about 9 months six specimens in total , males are slimmer females chunky , beautiful fishes !!!
