Hi,
was at a LFS and they had some Juvenile mystus cats for sale that’s what they are labelled as !!
I purchased one for my quiet tank , was hard to tell if its tengara or vittatus ? or something else ?
Ifs its Tengara then I will go get three more if its Vittatus then I let it grow out , if its something else then !!!
any ideas ?

Shane's an expert.
I just wanted to add that this is a huge genus with many species looking remarkably similar. Being a layman myself, I'd not dare to tackle this. I'd look to experts.

Thanks Shane.
Yeh Viktor i can understand why LFS just label them Mystus Cats.
So far its settled in nice , according to the Cat-elog you can keep more than one.
anyone share any experience on keeping these ? Is just one ok or is it recommended on having a pair or a small group ?

Mystus do fine alone or in groups of three or more. It is best to avoid keeping just a pair as one animal will dominate the other. This species is easy to keep and active.
