Brochis Multiradiatus , health issue ?
HI,
I Recently got four brochis multiradiatus , all good so far they have settled on thou one appears to be more lethargic than the other three and it looks different see the attached pics , Does this fish look healthy or has some sort of infection? The Suspect one in the pics still feeds and is still active but not As active as the other three

It looks like a very old fish. Do you have any idea about their ages?

No, unfortunately, I don't have any idea about the age of the group, but makes sense if it's just an old fish
My worry was due to his lack of activity compared to his three tank mates and the difference in color was a possible sick fish, if its just old age then that's a relief, I will just keep an eye on him.
Cheers

I had six ~10cm SL specimens for a time, must be going back to ~2012, when healthy they were very active in my 5x2x2!
Like you, I had no idea of their age when purchased. Your photos remind me of how mine went as they slowly died off, one by one, over a period of at least six months (which made me suspect old age rather than an infection, but I hate unexplained deaths, where I feel I cannot definitely learn something to benefit my other fish)... Grey, rather than bright green flanks, with slightly sunken bellies (like your left specimen in top photo and the singleton below).

Unfortunately the one that was less active passed away this morning , all other fish are fine.
Makes sense the age related issues these are full sized fish , hopefully the remaining three will live for a good while and thrive.

I currently have a similar problem.
I have/had 8 multiradiatus (from 2 different shops), all adults.
All were in good shape when I received them over a month ago (one turned out to be a splendens though).
Since then I lost 4 individuals without any clear indication whatsoever.
Water parameters are perfect, temperature isn't too high, they feed well on live, frozen en normal food.
Waterchanges are being done on a regular basis.
In the 30 years that I've been in the aquarium hobby now, this must've been the fish that I just don't get, I guess..
Or could it just be that they're old fish?

Re: Brochis Multiradiatus , health issue ?
I had the same thing happen to my multiradiatus. Lost them all. I suspect their large size requires more care than I'm used to giving for other corys.
I hope your remaining fish do well.
Cheers, Eric

Thank you, Eric. I really hope the same..
I don't even care that it's a pricey fish, but I just hate loosing the specimens..
