Today however I noticed it swimming all around the tank from the bottom to the top. The banjo looks ...

cat-e-log list L91 as Leporacanthicus triactis not a pseudacanthicus.
i wouldn't be suprised on L91 eating shrimps as i've seen them eat snails and have heard of them eating ghost shrimp.
my group of L91 show little to no agression towards other fish. they were in quarentine with two tiny L128 and ...

i mentioned external pumps because many of them can pump more water and to higher hights that powerheads and submersible pumps. i prefer the cs velocity pumps (now labeled as blueline or some thing like that after cs went belly up). the sump wouldn'd need to be drilled. just use a siphon/u-tube to ...

as far as i know bogwood is wood that has been submerged in a peat bog, this has the effect of preserving and keeping it from rotting. driftwood is wood that has been sun bleached and weathered on the beach. Both types last longer and pollute the water less than regular "dead" wood. i have never ...

Feeding prawns, shrimp, and crayfish raw? or cooked?
Hi,
I know many people here feed/have fed their plecs shrimp, prawns, mussels, cockle, and cray/crawfish from the grocery store. After searching the forums i am still left wondering whether they should be fed raw or cooked and with or without shells? Previously Iâ??ve only tried a few left over ...

i think your best bet would be to google fish diseases and look for a site with good description and advice.
example
http://www.fishyfarmacy.com/fish_diseases/bacteria.html
http://www.versaquatics.com/disease_diagnosis.htm
be careful not to over or needlessly (innefective/the wron medicine) medicate

Ascophyllum nodosum(kelp) and Chlorella algae as pleco feed?
hi,
I was browsing a catalog of dried food/herbal products looking for spirulina and carrot powder when I noticed that the company also sold Ascophyllum nodosum (the sight said it was kelp) and Chlorella algae in powdered form. Would these be okay to add into the mix of pleco food i make? The site ...
