Spawning Synodontis multipunctatus?
Spawning Synodontis multipunctatus?
Has anyone actually been able to watch S. multipunctatus spawn without a host? I have a pair that I have been watching lately that look like they are going through a spawning ritual, but I haven't seen any eggs released. They act just like a Corydoras does when it is spawning, with the T-formation and going around in circles. The male curves his tail way around and quivers with the female at a right angle to his body. Then they turn around and the male is at a right angle to the female. This goes on for several minutes or until they are disturbed.
